The concept of BIOMAT-TB full chain-Towards a Circular economy
Abstract
BIOMAT is a European Project with the main objective to establish an Open Innovation Test Bed for the benefit of industries and SMEs, aiming to facilitate the cross-border partnership and accelerate innovation in nano-enabled bio-based Polyurethane insulation materials for these industries. The project fits the guidelines of green chemistry and green economy. The CNR will participate in the project through the two Institutes IPCB and SCITEC. IPCB will coordinate the project for CNR, responsible for the development of bio-based enabled Polyurethane foams at pilot scale through new processing technologies and novel bio-based foam formulations.
